The GXS Green Team

GXS is committed to a sustainable global supply chain. This starts with our own commitment to reduce our carbon footprint. To this end GXS has established a “Green Team” to develop and implement global, sustainable practices and policies directed at all employees and offices. This team is managing our participation in governmental initiatives like the EPA’s Climate Leaders program. The team also plans and implements programs in the following areas: Waste Reduction and Recycling, Energy Conservation, Environmentally Preferable Purchasing, Water Conservation, Sustainable Building, Alternative Transportation, and Corporate Social Responsibility. The team consists of over 25 people located in 7 different countries.

GXS has joined the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Leaders Program to establish and meet specific carbon reduction goals.

 GXS is a member of Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), an organization which helps its members develop sustainable business strategies and operations in regard to social responsibility.
